Volunteers Needed.

We are always looking for volunteers to help our charity Anyone with time to spare can apply to become a volunteer.

We need help throughout the day, evenings and weekends. If you hold a current driving licence (test passed before 1997) and would like to become a volunteer driver, we can provide you with full training and even a nationally recognised certificate.

Volunteer passenger assistants are also needed to escort and help our passengers.

Volunteers form a cornerstone to Glossop's success and are always in demand. Duties range from driving in the evenings and at weekends.  Passenger assisting during the day and at weekends. Free training is provided and reasonable expenses are re-imbursed. Voluntary work can prove to be of great benefit not only to those being helped but also to the volunteers themselves. Tasks are varied and opportunities are available to meet many different people in the community. Free CRB (police) checking is organised by Glossop on behalf of all volunteers joining the Organisation.
